i never thought i'd say this, but thank god i'm home! the whole vacation thing was pretty much a bitch.....no, not because of screaming kids in the car, whining about when we'd get there, or because they were brats the whole time. (which they were!) no...it sucked because i was with family!! yes, five long fun-filled days doing exactly what my mom and dad wanted to do at every fucking minute!! YAY!!
you know, i have to take a break here and say this: right now i am trying to listen to radio@aol, or whatever the fuck it is. so i turn on this station called headbangerheaven. you would think that was a safe bet, right? NO! they are playing we aren't gonna take it by fucking twisted sister. i thought that song was ignorant when i was 12. oh, man, hold on. i'm turning it off.
"a pledge pin? on your uniform??"
ok, back. now the horse show...you would have had to be there to truly understand. they fucking crawl at a snail's pace. now i was glad to be there, don't get me wrong. it was great, when my daughter was showing. by the way.....she did really well for her first national horse show. she placed fifth and sixth, which was a surprise, because the competition is a lot heavier there, so we weren't expecting her to place at all. her trainer just wanted her to have the experience. i was proud. now before this show, she was thrown off of her horse three times, the last time getting run over by him, and having to be taken to the emergency room. so she was a little leary of jumping on him again, and afraid he would spook and throw her off, which he tried to do. but this time, amanda just yanked back those reigns like, "oh hell no!" then she just made him get back in line and keep going. it was great to see that stubborn streak in her come out, heh! and where do you suppose she gets that, hhhmmm?? (wicked grin)
so after five days of barns, smelly animals, walking, and too much family time, i was ready to come home. damn, i never thought i'd say that! never say never, i guess!
well, that's all for now. oh, yeah! i have been thinking of starting a journal that has multiple entries, like a weblog. how do you do that? i mean, do you write out your entries somewhere else, and then paste them up? or can you actually get in and keep adding to your entries daily? i guess if i wasn't so lazy, i could find out. until then, will someone tell me?
peace, i'm out~
